Founder's Note

When I look back at how Bunny Hops began, it wasn’t with fanfare; it was with frustration and faith. Frustration from watching too many brilliant young people in my community lose their potential to unemployment, division, and despair. And faith that something better was possible if we could come together, even with little, to do something that mattered.

Bunny Hops was born from the belief that youth don’t need handouts, they need chances. Chances to learn, to lead, to speak, to earn, and to build. I have seen firsthand how a single opportunity, a workshop, a book, a seedling, can spark confidence, connection, and change that ripples through entire communities.

We chose the name “Bunny Hops” because it represents motion; small, steady leaps forward. That’s what we’re doing every day. Whether it’s a digital skills bootcamp, a kitchen garden, or a peace dialogue, our mission is to ignite movement in young lives toward dignity, self-reliance, and peace.

This journey has never been about me. It’s about the incredible young adults who show up, stand up, and strive every day for better futures. It’s about the volunteers who give without being asked, the partners who trust in our vision, and the communities that continue to open their arms.

To our supporters, donors, and friends, thank you. Your belief fuels this mission. And to every young person out there who feels unseen or uncertain—you matter, your voice counts, and your leap forward starts now.
